Owner / Operator
Nate is the son of Kim and Patty Geetings, the founders of our company. After working for the family business for over 20 years, he took over ownership in 2021. Though Nate operates a pumper as needed, he mainly oversees large projects, manages driver schedules, performs inspections and assists with challenging jobs. He also serves as a technician for SludgeHammerTM Advanced Wastewater Treatment Systems.
When Nate isn’t working, he spends his time with his wife (Brianne) and three sons (Mason, Carter and Winston). He enjoys snowmobiling, fishing, camping and an occasional Guinness.
Owner / Administrator
Brianne (Nate’s wife) is our office administrator and handles customer communication and scheduling, invoicing and other day-to-day details. With a specialty in advertising project management, she also tackles marketing campaigns, website maintenance, social media communication and customer feedback.
In her spare time, you can find Brianne doing activities with her boys, gardening, crafting, dabbling in photography and writing in her blog www.theallergyway.com.
Trent (TJ) has been a seasonal operator with us since 2014. Born and raised in Honor, TJ is a graduate of Benzie Central High School. Before The Pumping Service, he worked in various trades including auto parts, construction, machine tool operation and landscaping. In his free time, TJ enjoys fishing, hunting, golfing, nature and gardening… a true Northern Michigander!
If you asked TJ what he enjoys most about his job, he would tell you it’s meeting new people and having different experiences with customers every day. And, of course, driving the truck!
Matt joined The Pumping Service crew back in 2018 and works as a seasonal operator. A Traverse City native, Matt graduated from TC West High School, then attended Northwestern Michigan College where he focused on Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. Prior to working for us, he served in the U.S. Army from 2016-2018. When he’s not on site, you can find Matt building computers and experimenting with design or 3D printing. A man of many talents!
What’s Matt’s favorite part of the job? Coming to the rescue to fix people’s problems, day or night!
Garret has been a seasonal operator for The Pumping Service since 2019. Originally from Hale, Michigan, Garret attended Hale High School followed by Adrian College where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in English. He married the love of his life and high school sweetheart (Amy), with whom he has one daughter (Elisabeth) and a crazy rescue pup (Zulu). Prior to joining our team, Garret worked as a writer for the Traverse City Record Eagle; he also held a position at Munson Medical Center.
Garret is very passionate about two things: his classic car collection (1964 VM Beetle, 1981 Corvette, 1982 Volvo) and the Tottenham Hotspurs – he follows the Coys through thick and thin!
